Who We Are.
We are DanSon.
We are a blend of musicians born in exotic places like Aruba, Colombia, Cuba, Curaçao, the Dominican Republic, and Venezuela. Creating a friendly, spicy, tropical atmosphere is second nature to DanSon. We feel what we play and play what we feel.
Our solid Caribbean roots, devotion and willpower are the foundations on which we have built our summerlike DanSon style. We have grown even stronger because of our members’ many performances all around the world, involving the Caribbean, South America, Mexico, the USA, Europe, and Asia. This also includes performances in New York’s Madison Square Garden and Palladium. We bring decades of seasoned “Música Latina” know-how directly to you.
We balance musical innovation with respect for Latin music traditions. During our rehearsals and shows, we enjoy working hard to discover that sweet spot. That is our reward. That is why both our rehearsals and our performances are rewarding experiences.
